Piracy Doesn't Pay

So my friend tells me he just got finished downloading the F.E.A.R game, and that it took him 4 days to finish it. Funny thing is, electricity around here is something like 5c an hour to run a computer, so lets see, 5cent/hour x 96 is 48$, Best Buy had the game on sale for 40$ this week, what a fool.

Yea, I forgot to hit another 0, ignore this plz, that's why I'm not a math major, real total is 4.8$, which still isn't great.

You really don't need a math major to know .05 times 96 just does not seem right when you get 48, and then come scream over here about it.

Umm, computers don't consume 1KW. The average computer will computer only uses like 200-300W. So if left on 24/7, it will only use at most 50 cents a day.

Well, at least if he doesn't like it, he will not be stuck unable to return it.
I bought HL2 for 60 bucks, It was all right, but CS:Source totally sucked. Now I'm stuck with the game that I cannot return and that just sits on a shelf gathering dust 🙁
This is one of those moments I really wish I got a "free" copy off the internet before going out and buying it.
