I was my pillows once a month in hot water and then dry on the highest heat setting. Does that not work?

I've tried to alert people to the dangers of bed bugs on this very forum. Sadly, people tend to dismiss these kinds of dangers until it is too late. :(

Me? Nahh, I'm far too laid back to have a chip on my shoulder. I do find it enjoyable to watch your threads turn into trainwrecks though.

... Or how chewing gum, chocolate, soy sauce, fish sauce, yogurt, etc. are made.

Chewing gum:

One of the more common gums to use in manufacturing of chewing gum is a polysaccharide known as Xanthan.

Xanthan is derived by Xanthanmonas campestris, a beautiful bacteria! Gums can be derived from seaweed, plants, and now more commonly, chemicals as well. For industrial purposes the bacteria is grown in vats and the product is collected and refined for manufacturing.

Memory Foam pillow FTW!

don't kid yourself, even a synthetic foam pillow will accumulate garbage, bacteria, fungi, skin cells, dust mites, dust mite waste products over time.

Not nearly as much as a conventional pillow, simply beause mites would literally have to eat through the pillow to get inside, whereas in a conventional pillow they can just enter the pillow through the outer fabric. Memory foam pillows are made of a dense material unlike normal pillows.
