I read about this earlier. It's titled Monk-key. It's about a monk endowed with the spirit of the Gods. His mission is to hunt down the last remaining dinosaurs. He has an animal sidekick who is a former monkey street performer, whom he communicates with through a harmonica. The monkey is the last of its breed - a species of monkey that can instinctly track down dinosaurs.

well, a whole lot of martial movies come from this martial novel writer: Jin Yong. This show is based on one of his popular novels: lovers and the eagle. The girl in white is the young man's aunt (aged only 16) who lived in a tomb in her whole life. The young man has a quite complex history of his birth. They two finally went out to seek the enemy to revenge. And there would be a lot of stories on their way...

My translation is probably off, but here's the cantonese pronounciation. Hopefully you mandarin folks know what I mean :)

dragon's eight episodes (tien lone baat bow)
legend of condor hereos (sun dew hop liu)

Jin Yong's works are just amazing! However, when translated into English, it just sounds horrible.
