I remember I used to think that Mourning Doves were owls because of that noise they make
Owl. They have more mass, and can hit harder.
Awesome. I've never seen an owl in person. I did not even know we had any here, but some people here did encounter them. I said "o rly?" when I heard that.
Anyone ever wake up at 3:33am and see a white owl in their window? It happens to me often. Weirdest thing ever.

Not owls, but I saw some wild turkeys yesterday. I was pretty excited. That was the second time in my life I've seen them, with the other time being in the mountains. I knew we had some in the county, but they're very rare. Speaking of rare, it's been 20 years since I've seen a pheasant. They were never really common, but I'd see them every so often. Too many new McMansions I guess :^/
