nice... what's next?

and not to rag on you or anything cuz what you have so far is impressive, but with that turbo setup I hope suspension and larger brakes are next.

What I am doing next is suspension. I will be adding some Koni struts. I really really do need some bigger brakes. Not only that, the current brakes that I have are bad, so brakes are going to be right after the suspension work.

Yours was a GXE if I remember correctly, no?

Yep - bottom of the line.

Heh, mine's a GXE too. I wish it was an SE. :)

Tell me you did a trans swap - all that power is gonna kill the stock auto trans

That was the first thing I did before i did any of the work. I first had just the stock transmission, but I didn't have the turbo at the time. I raced all the time though, and the transmission couldn't take it eventually. So I put a new transmission, which also eventualy fvcked up, after the warranty period, so I had to shell out another $2000 for a new tranny. The current transmission is not having any problems. Works great! :)

You should do hte BMW E36 headlight mod too...makes such a big difference to the looks.

Personally, I would have done brakes & suspension first..before I added the turbo.

But other than that, it looks great. What kind of fuel/timing/boost management system are you using? Greddy eManage (I think that is what it is called)? How much boost are you running right now? Have you dyno-tuned it yet?

I'm using a JWT ECU. Hopefully i can take it to the track and dyno soon to get some #'s.
Suspension and brakes are on my list, i'm probably going to order everything tonight. I've got a stillen body kit that needs to be put on too....just taking everything day by day. Thanks for the replies

You might need more than the JWT ECU to manage the turbo setup. Usually, people add a piggy-back system that monitors the EGT & boost...unless your JWT ECU is specially programmed for a turbocharger add on...even then you need a turbo timer and boost controller at the very least.

Also make sure you monitor your EGTs and A/F ratio!!
