well pardon me, I didnt know the image tag is different than that of some other boards I frequent.

They can be had for around $900.00

Most, but not all ARs are chambered for .223 and 5.56mm. 5.56mm is loaded hotter and the rifle needs to withstand the incresed pressure accordingly.

Nice setup, but I am not a fan of the price tags. I bought an SR15 out of Knights for a little more that had a similar a3 config with more toys

Nice setup, but I am not a fan of the price tags. I bought an SR15 out of Knights for a little more that had a similar a3 config with more toys

Then you got a hell of a deal.

Also, I have never heard of KAC selling their rifles to anyone but .mil and LEO. Maybe I am mistaken, or are you LEO?

Again, if you even got ONLY an SR15 for a littler more than $900, you probably ripped the person off a good grand or two.

Nice rifle. My father has one very similar to that, though it is an early Colt AR-15, select fire, in the .223 caliber. Yes, it is registered and yes it is very fun to shoot.
