Hope you have a fast recovery and life gets back to normal for you :) Nothing worse than being hors de combat.

it's kinda hard to take a picture not so close when i'm the one taking the picture. I'll see if i can find someone else willing to take one.

no, it's taped pretty heavily

However, if you are anything like me, by the time you are getting close to healing you are going to be finding as many different ways to tape it as possible because your skin is going to get thin and irritated by all the taping and removing of tape.

it's already irritated and i still have about 6 weeks to go. I guess one good thing about nerve damage is that i can't feel one whole side that gets taped.

Ok...two things.

1) Could you put a couple of large taped areas on your leg and leave them for a few days at a time? Then run the tape from the dressing onto these other areas of tape. If possible, it would minimize the number of times you have to apply/remove the tape directly onto your skin. Just a thought.

2) People keep not being able to tell where this is on your leg. So... correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like this is on the OUTSIDE of your RIGHT THIGH so that if someone were standing to your right they would be facing the wound. Is that right?

as i've said many times during this thread it's not exposed like that all day. I took these pictures during a dressing change. I even posted pics with the dressing on to try to stop this confusion.
