We got roaches 5 times that size here....they would own your roach 😀

*edit* you're from Hawaii? then you should know brada they get way bigger than that! 😉

I heard shoe is actually bad.. sometimes they carry massive amounts of egg with them.. and when u smack em with shoe... .. 😀 expect some baby roaches to emerge from ur carpet 😀

95% of the roaches in my house are that big. All roaches of that kindl get that big but never any bigger.

And you guys with your RAID. Congrats, you just poisoned your house. Maybe you will injest some of it too. A shoe works fine and it isn't toxic.

not from my area. i mentioned above i've been out in the "boonies" and seen much bigger, but this completely scared the sh!t out of me because the ones here (Hawaii Kai) rarely get to be over an inch before I find and smash them.

You're 'sposed to grab it by the legs/antennae with some needle-nose pliers and then put it over a small flame. They scream 🙂


And stink.
 
Am I the only one that has never delt with cockroaches? Seriously you people talk like you fight for your living space with these things. The biggest insect I deal with is a lady bug or a moth. Ok maybe a spider or beetle, but none of these fvcking beasts.

Yup, those are bigger.. they're also of a different species (Madagascar hissing cockroach.. they move a little slower than the OP's roach but make hissing noises if you pick them up). Hooray for bio class.
 
Raid = Poison. Shoe = Eggs. Acetone = awesome. Seriously, they melt under some acetone spray. Nail polish remover should do the trick. Plus it evaporates, so no mess!
