its the diameter of a yellow Livestrong band long. :|:|:| And it's still twitching minutes after being doused with a half-can of Raid.

edit: now 8 minutes later and still twitching. I applied a half-second spray more Raid.

edit: now confirmed dead 18 minutes after pic taken. now i just need to gather whats left of my testicles and flush it down.

fortunately i kept my calm, for the most part. ran to the kitchen to get the raid half hanging out my pants though. :thumbsup:

ewww, please let that thing die in a fire! ;( ur house has pest???? nastyy. Man my old house use to have roaches and i was use to it, but in this house if i see one i would freak out now.

There's very few places you'll find more disgusting insects in the US than Hawaii. Florida has some nasty shiznit in places, IIRC. But Hawaii has the biggest roaches. :thumbsdown:
 
Oh man you haven't seen anything yet! The roaches here in Hawaii are about twice that size and fly! LOL I emptied 1/2 a can of Raid roach killer on one I found in my garage last week, and it still didn't die. After about 8 minutes after using the Raid it had slowed down quite a bit so then used a can of brake cleaner to finish it off.

have you been to asia? I used to kill the roach that had the length of my middle finger, some were even bigger.

most likely true. the only country i've been to outside the US is Russia though, and its too cold there in most places to support massive roaches.

Well then you know already! LOL You seen those 5in+ flying bastads yet? We got them all around here in Ewa..prob from all the crap at cambell industrial making them bigger. lol
 
When my family went to Hawaii 10 years ago, we got to out hotel room and it was filled with small flying insects... like mayflies or something (I'm no insect expert)

There must have been about 300 on each bed. They were all over the walls and floor and everything.

We got comp-ed for a room in a different, nicer, bug-free hotel. 😀

Try and find the movie 'Twilight of the Cockroaches' They use high powered pressure guns (somewhere between a super soaker and a pressure washer) to take care of em.

Joes Apartment's premise is a rip off of it.

Yeah..seen some monster ones out near yokohama beach last weekend. And some gigantic geckos too.
 
I've seen those gigantic centipedes, the ones that are many inches long, we are talking 4 inchers in my house. Those things are really scary. And scorpions, those are nasty. Never knew we had those here until we took our tree house down, and to think we played around them. Argh. Got quite a few nasty bugs around Hawaii.
