Does anyone have one of these, and can they tell any difference? I'm not interested at all in buying one but I'm quite curious.

But in the games that do, it seems like the newer cards are sporting much better physics (which means better visuals, because it looks better, because there's more stuff flying around more realistically). Also, IIRC, they fixed the graphics performance hit the first generation cards had.
CellFactor looks supurb, but I doubt it's going to be a killer app due to gameplay. In the demo I tried, it was more of a sandbox than any game with structure. If they want to go the sandbox route, they need to get Gary of GarysMod fame to work on something.Originally posted by: McArra

Also the use of the API is free now, which is great for users.
