It is still technically illegal.  You only own the right to use the program, you don't actually own the program.  By using a cracked version, whether you payed for the right to use a legit one or not, still violated the license.

But obviously it seems to be legal if another company makes deep changes to your very own PC, installs various therads and processes, collects information and sends this information to some 3rd party over MY internet connection from MY PC.
I see the need for copy protection - but spyware and information collection, and especially deep *modifications* of my running system are something i do NOT consider funny. I didnt even bother to read the WHOLE reply from the answer guy....just from overflying it it was enough for me.
I just cleaned my system yesterday from some serious spyware infiltration...just as a sidenote.
Sidenote2: Of course (again) the honest buyer is the folled one who has to live with the problem - of course the crack will get rid of the problem, i KNEW that already before i even read here and without even owning CS. And sidenote 3, i think adobe software stinks anyway...overrated and bloated...
