Did he manipulate the shot that included Orion? Or was it just lens distortion? Because that is not the normal position of Orion's Sword.

Nice!

I played with your first pic for a bit more detail.

The top photo is amazing. And I love it... but people are going to ask me why I call Orion's **** his sword.

Maybe I have not ever seen it this clear, and maybe our forefathers didn't either, but it sure looks like a **** and not a sword.

It's a gorgeous picture.

Hard to say, maybe it's the flat photo and the sky is more curved as it's in 3d when we look into the sky.

In the top left of his photo, you can see two twin stars. I forget their name.

With naked eye, they are one star, but under magnification they are two stars.

One of my first "finds" in the night sky.

Decent photos. I wasn't really interested in this kind of thing. I saw it once on accident late at night a few years ago when I went outside at night. (One of the rare times I actually went into my backyard just for whatever) I don't feel I ever need to see it again.
I didn't know you were alive 400+ years ago. Good for you. 🙄

Last shot on #79 came out nice.

I also like the one where the corner is still lit, but the rest of the moon looks like it is slowly going to hell (like a scene from Supernatural or something! 😉 )
