They are all HDR (at least two exposures for each shot). The dusk shot is the most widely-used among pro photographers of architecture.

Okay, I'll get started!

I am STILL processing my Greece pics from this summer, so I dunno if these are the best or if the best are yet to come. But here they are...

Santorini at Dawn, 5:30 AM
Same pic as above, taken about 6 hours later.
More from Oia, Santorini.
Yet another.

Oia, Santorini: Has to be in the Top 10 of the World's Most Picturesque Destinations!

Edit: Links fixed!

wow! wow!
can you post the originals (if you still have em). I want to see how much of a difference post processing makes.

But seriously...wow!

I'll see what I can do by the end of the day :)

Nothing really special but 2 of my favorites so far this year. Some of you other guys have some amazing photos it's unbelievable. I wish my stuff would come out like that or I could process it to get it like that.

I'm still learning this photography thing (moved from extreme newb to plain ol' newb). I don't do any post processing because I don't know how yet.

All that being said, here's one of my favorite pictures I've taken. It's my niece on vacation...I'd love to have that kind of youthful exuberance again.

So I'm browsing through the latest uploaded pics at bbzzdd, then all of the sudden I see this particular pic. I think to myself, "holy f*ck that looks like Hollywood 27." Then a few pictures later I see the "Bat" building. Hmm, someone from AT lives in/near Nashville too. I follow the pictures back to the source, and here you are. Sup?

2006 has been a good photography year for me. I was finally able to pick up a dSLR, so I've been working on brushing up on my skills. Additionally, between trips for work (Las Vegas) and my own vacation (Japan), I've also visited some pretty interesting places to shoot!

All of these are taken with my Nikon D70s and the 18-70mm kit lens. I do need to get some more lenses; I really felt limited by the kit zoom in some situations, particularly for the night and low-light shots. After seeing many other shots here and elsewhere, though, I'm still considering upgrading to the D80 or even switching to Canon, before I get too heavily invested in glass.

Here's a selection of my photos from 2006 (I've noted some that I particularly like):

Las Vegas, Nevada
The Bellagio from the Eiffel Tower - Favorite
The strip from the Eiffel Tower
Bally's and the Paris from the Eiffel Tower

I was impressed that the shots from the tower came out as well as they did; it was windy the night I went up, so the tower was moving quite a bit, and my lens isn't exactly fast. :)
