Philly can win all the Hockey, Soccer, Poker, bowling, pizza cook off, hot dog eating, syncronize swimming championships it wants, nobody really cares

Actually I think there are a large number of people that do care about hockey...thanks butt monkey.

though philly is not winning the cup this year

Then who is smartguy???

i have no idea, but not the swiss cheese defense

ottawa has to be able to beat toronto and it looks like carolina
tampa bay and new jersey seems to have lost their magic
Rangers you never know, 94 was a bit of surprise and if Lundquist gets hot
calgary is really starting to catch on fire
dallas, vancouver, montreal, detroit are all cup contenders as well

You are funny, Philly has owned the Cowboys since 2000. The Cowboys I guess were due for a comeback year, a win is a win, but the second game they were outplayed bad.

I think you will change your tune when the Giants win the division and the Cowboys don't even see a wild card spot.

Do you even know the history of these two teams?

The record is like 50-39 (too many sites blocked by websense due to "eml" in the URL, so I tried to verify ). So in the long run we own you. Oh, wait, you want to compare a small time frame. Well I do to, let's look at the '05 season. Gee we owned you in the short term too. Oh wait, you want to compare a slice of history (like that's relelvant), see 90s. Owned, owned, owned. ;)

I won't change my tune, I'll still pull for the Cowboys. I did it during Aikman's first season (1-15) why would missing the playoffs stop me?

Yes I do know the history of the two teams...thanks. Next year why don't you come to philly to watch the Cowboys vs. Eagles game, I have two season tickets, you can come sit with me in my section wearing a Cowboys Jersey and run your mouth like this there. ROFL

You don't have to change your tune, I am not asking you to. I am just stating that it will be real sunny when the Cowboys don't make the playoffs this year that's all.
Oh teh noes, fear the Eagles fans!!! It's ain't running your mouth when your walking the walk...

And if the Eagles fans can't take it... well, that's their problem. You'd enjoy a game here in your Eagles jersey, though I'm not sure you'd be offered a beer. :p

Nobody wants to flame my thread?

The Cowboys are not the team you think they are, sure you can talk smack right now and say that they owned the Eagles this year, but mark my words....The Cowboys are not a playoff caliber team this year. The Flyers will make the playoffs this year and stand a good chance to win it all with the team playing the way it is right now. I don't follow B-Ball that much either, but the Sixers are on a six game wining streak and looking great right now.

The Cowboys will flop and win only 2 of the games remaining in the season and finish 8 wins and 8 loses with the Giants taking the division for this season.
Fixed quotes, you didn't even quote me.

I never said the Cowboys are anything, so WTF are you talking about? What I said was the Eagles suck and that they Cowboys owned you. They did. 2-0 sweep, blow out one game, incredible come-from-behind. Ownage.

The Cowboys will make the payoffs, they lead their division, making them a playoff caliber team. Simple as that.

Philly is NOT in charge and they never were. :p

The cowboys started losing to the eagles when the triplets careers ended and the rebuilding process begun. After a few horrible draft years, Parcel finally saved the cowboys with an incredible draft pieceing together a solid defense that will give Philly fits for years to come.

But one can easily argue that the Cowboys are already back this year and what a heck what a splash they made. Beating the Eagles in two games and knockin Mcnab and the Eagles playoff hopes into next year. Not one team dominated the cowboys this year, and if not for 2 miracle finishes against the Cowboys by Washington and Seattle, they might be 7-1 right now. And trust me, had Flozell Adams not been injured, they would have dominated the Eagles in the 2nd game also

Speaking of the giants, the cowboy plays there in 3 weeks so we'll see. The cowboys offense seem to be struggling without Flozell Adams as they are now keeping 2 tight ends back for pass protection resulting in their recievers having a real hard time getting open.
This was obvious against the Eagles. Against a balanced team like the Giants, I'll admit that I'm not sure the Cowboys can win. But I still think the Cowboys will make the playoffs. The giants will have road games at Phillly, Seattle, Washington, and Oakland and they will lose all 4 games.

Don't only count the miracle losses don't forget the miracle wins that Dallas had. Against Philly and they JUST squeaked by the Giants after nearly blowing the game in the final minute. So they're pretty lucky to be 6-3 right now, they would not be anywhere near 7-1. It's a two-way street.

The Giants will not lost to Washington or Oakland. Philly and Seattle I can see beating them if Eli is off again.
