What did you expect? The specs suck too- doesn't even support 720p, it's a tube TV...I thought HD had to support 720p?

I have this TV. It isn't the best HDTV i've ever watched, but for $344 it is pretty nice.

Also, it being a tube TV doesnt mean anything. Direct View TVs render the sharpest picture actually.

Can I plug my PC into this so I can use it as a monitor as well?

Lemme know :) Right now I have an s-video out to my regular 27" TV... and I can't go higher than 800x600 because it looks like CRAP.

I'm buying it. What is the trick to forcing them to get your signature on delivery? Alot of times my dumb roomies would just sign for it and i want to check it out before i sign

This should be the same tv funboy42 keeps posting from last year. People have had mixed reviews so beware.

It is the same model TV funboy posted about, yes. I've had this TV for almost a year now and am VERY pleased with it. Sure it's not the greatest 30" Widescreen HDTV out there, but for $360 shipped so long as it keeps turning on and displaying a beautiful 1080i content, I'm happy. I was very skeptical before buying like most of you are, but this deal really worked out for me and I suggest you take a shot at it if you want an entry-level HDTV for a nice price.

I got it for $337 shipped (with coupon off main page + tax). Would some of you owners please give a run down of pitfalls to avoid (checklist before signing on delivery)? Also where is a cheap source for a DVI -> HDMI converter for monitor use?

NOTE: with purchase of this tv you get access to the 50% off that 5.1 system + reciever deal. I am buying it for my friend so it came out to an additional $53 to add the speaker package. Crap reviews, but he just needs the speakers + sub

Checklist? lol...

You think the UPS guy is gonna hang out and grab a beer while you wire this thing up, pop in a DVD and start running diagostics? :)

You can't even get control of your roommates and you think the UPS guy is going to be your lapdog. Most UPS drivers don't even have time for a signature. You get to the door and there's already a "sorry we missed you" notice stuck on the other side.
