I bought the lower tv model last year and it has been wonderful. It has a little bit of distortion on the edges depending on screen action when in 4:3 mode but not noticable when using the HDMI input. This is also the newer model so it may not even have that problem.
The one I bought HERE for $387.99 OTD.
Also my last thread of the other tv alot of poeple were calling a $400 hd tv crap and I took it apart last month to make some adjustments to my liking (I do it to almost all my tv's) and my tv must really suck because it has a Samsung Tube
I know samsung is known for making crappy tvs so I did wrong buying mine when I did. Please dont tell me, your meter is broken
Dont know if these have the sammy tubes in them but mine does 100%. But for $400 and on a budget you cannot beat this tv at all. I havent had one lick of trouble and I did hook up my tv to my pc through a dvi to hdmi adapter and it didnt work all that well. But my $35 cyberhome upconverting to 1080i dvd player looks sweet as hell on it
