I've read the wiki page on Wall of Sound, but it seems to me it would just make music sound manufactured. Wouldn't it be ideal to hear music as it would be played live? Or are we just talking what makes Britney Spears sound best on stock car systems and iBuds...
Here's Good Vibrations from Brian Wilson, a genius in his own right. His music's loaded with Spector influence.
That song made me very uncomfortable for some reason. Not because it was bad, per se, but because it was so musically confusing.

Please tell me thats not the first time you've heard that song. 🙁

From the "wall of sound" to the "cell of sound". Phil still produces new bands. Bubba and the Boys. The Backseat Boys, and of course The Reamettes with thier hits Better not take my eyes off of you, Walking in the shower, and Soapy 🙂

Aside from any forensic evidence the suicide defence just doesn't make sense to me. Suicide is an extremely personal act or an act of "Passion". Doesn't make sense for someone to commit suicide, especially in this way, in a strangers house.

Neither you nor I have seen Phil naked so maybe we shouldn't judge the suicide theory too harshly.

Sex with Phil Spector or suicide?

I'm thinking, I'm thinking.

Alrighty then, here's an easier one: Cake or death?

Death.

No, wait, CAKE!

😛

Ronnie White

Would all agree that locking up Phil Spector is about 40 years too late.

Not even the bits of it that were used in the Sunkist commercials back in the 80's?

Personally my theory is she was trying to turn him on by pretending to blow his gun but then it blew her.
