Without a doubt! But, long before any stories, there was just something about the way he looked that made me instinctively think, "creep."

He was a groundbreaking music producer in the 60s. His trademark was the wall of sound, which was super lush and full. Think Ronettes, Crystals, and The Righteous Brothers. Brian Wilson from the Beach Boys had a similar style.
 
I hope they release the details on how they found him guilty. Would be an interesting read seeing as how a lot of evidence originally suggested that it was suicide and not murder.

Definitely a creep.

I've read the wiki page on Wall of Sound, but it seems to me it would just make music sound manufactured. Wouldn't it be ideal to hear music as it would be played live? Or are we just talking what makes Britney Spears sound best on stock car systems and iBuds...

It's definitely manufactured, but it gave pop music a richness that wasn't heard back then.

Listen to Be My Baby from the Ronettes. This was a huge sound, especially for 1963.

Here's Good Vibrations from Brian Wilson, a genius in his own right. His music's loaded with Spector influence.

That song made me very uncomfortable for some reason. Not because it was bad, per se, but because it was so musically confusing.
