Phaser or Lightsaber?

i'm all about the lightsaber! hell, it may not have the range, but its so much cooler, esp if u get darth mauls! and besides, u can defend a phaser shot w/ a lightsaber!
 
Lightsabre AND....WOLVERINE CLAWS!!!!

Could've used that combo while shopping the day after Thanksgiving!
 
unless the phaser wave is at exactly the same wavelength/phase as the lightsaber, the two energy pulses would repel each other, which would be blocking🙂 or at least i think that's what i remember from physics last year....

hell, i'm premed not engineering🙂
 
Baretta 92FS, I prefer a real gun opposed to a cheap, plastic knock-off of a star wars weapon. 😉
 
I'll take a phaser any day. Unless I miss my guess, most people in this day and age aren't real strong with 'the force'😉, and I'd be willing to bet that my phaser will turn you to dust before you can get that lightsaber up to block it.....😎 -kd5-
 
End of the day, you look waaay cooler with the lightsabre. and if you need the range, learn to throw it like a javelin.
 
It doesn't matter which one you have, as long as "the force" is strong within you. 🙂 But, I'd take the lightsaber cuz it's more classy to kill with a sword than shooting someone.
If the light saber and the phasor have their frequencies exactly 180 degrees out of phase, then they would observe destructive interference and simply absorb each other's energy. Thus, it would block. I'd take Magneto's mutant abilities any day, it's stop them both.
 
Try blocking a Barret Light-50 with a lightsaber. Sure you could burn up the first bullet, but the force of the impact would knock the blade back at you and kill you. Haha.

Depends. One-on-one or one-on-five, lightsaber. I wouldn't give ground troops a 'saber. Blaster/phaser is much faster and gets the job done, albeit a bit noisily.

Err... yeah.
