I don't think so. He doesn't add anything for Biden. So far as Bernie, if he gets the nom he's more likely to pick another progressive like Warren.
If Bernie actually wants to win, he should pick a moderate as VP, such as Buttegieg or Klobuchar.

Good for him. I can't help but think that Klobuchar nailed him so hard he saw himself as he was, somebody so self important he was entitled to butt in line and the truth of it got to him.

Democracy has been dead for a long time, at least since the time of Carter so regardless of how not electable anybody may feel Sanders is a progressive is the only way back to government of, by, and for the people. Moderates will just compromise until the last nail is driven. Moderates are just voting for suicide by pill rather than by pistol.

What makes for a greater chance of revolution, people democracy dying before your eyes rapidly, or being cooked like a frog in a slow boiling pot?

I predict Bernie will a have majority locked up after Super Tuesday.

More and more unlikely now. With Buttigieg out and the big Biden SC win, more will likely be viable in a lot of the Super Tuesday states. Plurality is the most likely outcome now. Bernie with a slight advantage and then Biden.

Let me rephrase: I predict that Bernie wins the majority on Super Tuesday, which will give him the momentum to carry it the rest of the way.
It is my experience that modern Presidential primaries tend be over long before most people realize it. 2016 is a perfect example of that, and for both parties.

I always wonder why they say "suspend" instead of "end," like they mean. I know it's a euphemism, but you're not fooling anyone, folks -- it's not like you're going to come back a few weeks later.
Pretty sure there is a campaign finance reason for suspending vs ending.

Because if they suspend their campaign they can still collect campaign contributions, if they end it the money stops flowing.

That's not nice.
I liked Pete. Seems like a very level headed fellow.

trudat.

Served in the military. Understands pressure. Understands not bowing to the 2% and instead going for the majority.... I honestly wish he was more near the front-runner.

In-fact, I have zero clue why he dropped vs. what is remaining.

I’m actually surprised by this. I thought warren would have dropped out before him but I thought neither would drop out until after the Super Tuesday results.

I see this as helping warren more than Biden though.

You really think so? I would think that the whole reason why moderates like Steyer and Mayor Pete are bowing out are to give Bloomberg and Biden a chance to beat Bernie Sanders in more Super Tuesday states.

He seems more polished as a speaker than Biden. But so are some of the other candidates.

Joe says he'll contest if there's not a majority. The DNC will then give it to him .

Joe has like no money, his campaign is on life support. Isn't that why Bloomberg has and is dumping money into the DNC? He's trying to get to delegates on his side during the 2nd vote. The question is if he can buy off most of the delegates and they owe him favors, why would they side with Biden?

If he wants to run again, getting trounced on Super Tuesday would follow him for a long time. He's also the kind of guy who would bow out if his wine cave donors told him to (they did). He was the most fake out of them all, which I think turned off a lot of people. It didn't help either trying to mimic Obama's oratory.

That would be the conventional wisdom. But this is Bernie Sanders. He's too much of an ideologue to pick a moderate.

I don't think Warren would be a bad pick for him, but I'm concerned he'll pick Nina Turner unless forced to consider someone else. I think that pick could hurt him. But if he fucked it up, it wouldn't be the first. Hillary probably could have won if she picked Bernie.

He will be Biden’s VP
Possibly Bernie’s

I’m sure that’s why he tapped out

He won't be vp. No way another white guy is on the ticket.

I would expect a cabinet or other high level position tho.

Then he takes that experience and gravitas to some other high elected office.

I don't like Turner as a VP pick. He's better off with Stacey Abrams or, for that matter, almost anyone more moderate than himself.

Warren would be a good choice for Biden.

Biden's VP will be black, and probably a woman.
