The damn post office this time of year

I thought we were far enough past Christmas that all the unprepared idiots would have retreated by now. No such luck! I went in there today, as I do everyday with a dozen packages to be sent out. I knew I was in trouble, for the line was out the door and half way accross the parking lot.

Now, I always have my stuff prepacked, labeled, confirmation and insurance stickers in place, etc.
What part about having your stuff packed and filled out before you get to the counter, do these dumbos not understand?
I can't believe the dimwits who are standing at the counter stuffing things into boxes and filling out paperwork. There was one lady who had to be told 3 times that it was her turn, while she flapped her gums at another patron. :|
The drive to and from, including 74 minutes in line, was about 2 hrs and 15 minutes!

Anyway, can you tell yet that going to the P.O. is one of my pet peaves? :Q
 
Groan... I have to mail some stuff off tomorrow 🙁 Now that you mention it, this might be even worse than before Christmas, you have the late gift shippers combined with the return gift shippers.

WTF is up with people that cut in front of you at the drive-thru in the bank, then sit there and fill out their deposit stuff? Some guy did that to me late today, he was lucky Mrs. Sluggo the calming influence in my life was with me, or I seriously would have drug him out of his car and beat him silly. Fvcking rude-ass people.
 
haha...shinerburke, I feel ya. What's worst is if you drop the kids off at the pool and they splash water at your ass...haha

No i think it must be when you open the fridge at 2am and there no food. or reachng for that pack of smokes you have on the desk and its empty.. hehehe
but #1 coming to anandtech and my crappy Cox cable is off line..
 
people who are ALWAYS whining and complaining - they put everybody in a bad mood, espically myself.
