Some of you guys are just attacking why i need this and thats fine but why dont you guys try and help me as well....

There are HIPPA laws and etc, i assume that is the main reason why personal emails are blocked, or just the fact we are wasting time.

Things like facebook aren't block. I can go on to google/yahoo/msn, i can click on email and get to a log in screen but once i type in my info it gets blocked out.

I dont need to check my email or anything, i have my phone for that. But i do need to print out some time sensitive stuff for co-workers and etc. I can download PDF files and etc. The files are on my phone, I cant USB transfer or anything because the USB ports are "read/write protected" i guess no stealing info out or uploading a virus.

The IT guys are in another state.

You're missing the point ENTIRELY.
You're trying to take it upon yourself to circumvent security measures that were obviously and intentionally point in place for a specific reason. "They" don't want YOU to have access to your personal email... for whatever reason.

If you NEED access to your email, for work related purposes, then discuss with your supervisor so that access can be granted to you, or you can get a work assigned email to carry out your daily duties. IT being in a different state is 100% irrelevant.

Long story short, talk to your supervisor. Don't try to beat the system... it will only get your FIRED.
