Considering that liberal is another way of calling people out who try to have respect for others and take all obligations into consideration when making a decision I am a Liberal myself. Funny thing is that these so called conservatives would find themselves facing God on the street just like their predecessors did with the woman at the well.

Can't say I blame him. If you feel the need to post political drivel in everything, you are part of the problem. Most likely one of those 'dem dems' or 'dem republicans' or 'dem libs' or 'dem conservatives'. Anyone with half a brain doesn't think like that. All you do is represent an old mindset dividing the people that needs to go away. Sadly it seems many people feel the need to turn every conversation into some sort of political blame debate. Let's be real and use our heads. We are nothing. We are not in charge. We hold no power. Politicians are not FOR the people. It is a job. They are there for themselves. Bipartisanship is a lie now. Conservatives or Liberals? Left or Right? Who cares? Do you care about human beings or just your myopic view of what the world should be? Does thinking that everyone has the right to be equal and not screwed with, not stepped on, not persecuted make someone a bad person? That's what you are railing against when you post things such as this. Quit trying to divide the mindset with your narrow minded views. Want to make a change? Pick up a gun and start a revolution. Otherwise, keep your drivel to yourself. You aren't impressing anyone, and you certainly aren't prompting any change. You are just the lowest common denominator throwing insults because you can't think of anything more intelligent to add to the conversation.

The fly in that ointment is that "liberal" (thought not very liberal in the traditional sense) reserves that "respect for others" ONLY for certain people/groups, according to their skin colour and politics.

If you're not on the list, you not only get NO respect, you get vitriol. You get hate. All in the name of "stamping out hate". *sigh*

I completely agree with your statement. I am not white nor am I black rather I'm an Asian mix and at church I've felt out of place, especially when the pastor makes light of the fact that I'm not either of the majority races. What the hell does my uniqueness have to do with being at church? I'm sick of people being singled out because of their race only. When bad behavior is the case then call them all out period!

I am not very political but when I don't swing with Perk, I'd say I swing more Libertarian than anything.

*sigh* This is one of those fine moments that point out progressives' "logic" that racism can ONLY come from those in "power" (even if they're not) and anyone else is excused from the consequences. The progressives also believe that ONLY white people have "power", thus only white people can be racists.

Therefore it's definitely not racist to call whitey any name you want, hurl any false accusation, claim any injustice, extend any punishment, extol any violence against them.
