Period-Space or Period-Space-Space

ditto. that's how we were taught up through high school. Altho, my sister is a sophomore in high school now, when she was back in middle school, i'd proof read her papers and she always used 1 space. so it seems times are finally changing in the early educational years

one space... see no point in using two spaces... there's no "correct" way of doing it anyway. It doesn't fall under grammar, spelling, punctuation... it's merely layout and effect. To me, using two spaces just makes the two sentences further apart, as though you're after a lengthier pause. Wouldn't you think?

One space when typing emails and non-formal documents and letters. Two spaces for formal documents, papers, and letters. Usually, for printed material I prefer two spaces.
