It's a rat, and it was drugged into unconsciousness. I'm not saying that anything goes in terms of animal experimentation, but if a few rats have to be sacrificed and as long as it's done in a reasonably humane way then I couldn't care less.

What, I wasn't supposed to get the neighbors cats and feed it some antifreeze to knock it out, then perform brain surgery? Another question, I got it sewed back up but the cat won't wake up, I know cats hate water, should I throw some on it?

Well it's true and sad. Some asshole out there may just have a beef to get off his chest.

This is the main reason you really aren't supposed to post others pics...it can set them up for worlds they didn't want to get into.

Along with the animal stuff (I am a Zoologist by education along with Computer Sci.) people here already brag about shooting cats, leaving antifreeze out, etc. Not beyond them trying to duplicate this. As it was in college we had to keep the sociopaths away.

Anyways, the pics were interesting. And I love all animals, but I also trust that this was humane.

Posting a picture of a black person doing biology lab work is going to bring out all the racists in ATOT, make us hate black more AND cause sociopath to do more experiments on mouses?

You pretend concern is a thinly disguised racist comment and makes us all look like assholes.
 
I always hated working on mice. Poor cute little white/brown fuzzy things. We used to just hold them down by the neck with a pair of forceps and tug the tail snapping the neck. A little drop of blood would leak out of the poor little nose and stain the white fair. Broke my heart. 🙁
 
Surprisingly it wasn't the pictures but the posts in this thread that are making my brain hurt.

I am hardly being racist, I am being honest. 1) I doubt this guy wants his picture out there for doing lab experiments. 2) in this thread someone has already commented "black brain surgeon". There is hate out there and some just want an excuse.

We had PETA freaks outside our labs a couple times. I doubt I'd want to go on record for some of the dissections I did.

However, your post shows you are being an asshole. I am just trying to be honest.
