I fudged all the power values to 15w since this has no power reporting and that's the tdp of the FX-9800P, but the time is valid.

URL for the official binaries? All I've been able to find is this: http://msystem.waw.pl/x265/

Don't think those are official, as in, built by the developers themselves.

Found these: https://github.com/AmusementClub/x265/releases/tag/Yuuki-3.5-AC3 (project page may be NSFW) but no mention of AVX-512 support.

tunnel vision, my bad, since we are in handbrake thread I thought you build handbrake and not x265 itself even after I have read the compiler from cmd output..., oh my... nope for x265 I don't know if there are any official ones for windows

Yeah, I went after x265 because Handbrake is too complicated to build for me.

You could check out https://github.com/lordmulder/Simple-x264-Launcher/releases/latest which is a Windows frontend including binaries of the supported codecs. Not sure if it has AVX-512 enabled though.

I am so sorry, I did not see this, and I also never have downloaded or used handbrake.

I would have needed a teet to feed me through it.
