Perfect - now looters are stealing everything in Orleans

QFT??? WTF!!! There are gangs down there stealing all the drugs from pharmacies and alcohol from the stores. They are shooting at rescuers to prevent them from ruining the party. They should be shot on site.
There is no excuse for taking anything that won't help you survive. If you are doing so , you are a waste of human flesh in my opinion , and I would like to have you in my sites.
There are large groups who made plans prior to the storm for where they would meet and what areas they wanted to hit(to loot) once the storm passed. It is only due to the flood after the fact that they aren't going to be able to get out with the loot and profit from the effort. These people are a scourge on society and I have no issues with the rapid disposal of them.

I made myself clear. Taking vital resources (food and non alcoholic beverages) is perfectly acceptable. Taking anything else is not. Shooting at the rescuers to prevent them from stopping the looting and partying is a good reason to be shot as well as general looting is. The looters put others lives in jeapordy in many ways. The shooting isn't the only factor. The very fact that they are there and not trying to get out is a hinderence to accountability for people trying to help.

Many will, and have taken the opportunity to bash black people during that situation in NO (i have too).

But even if most of the black were looters and rapists, it isn't justification for not to defend innocent (black, white, or what ever color) and help them.

Mind the fact that there is lots of people that are in need, and that they haven't done anything wrong, they are just a pray for that scum that is disgrace to humanity.
But when they have to live around black trash (or white), they become that them selves.

So fix your problems (get rid of those apes), and stop being weak and stupid loosers.

If you give away your food/jeans you lose your insurance claim due to the hurricane. Insurance companies don't cover the owner giving away their business.

While the drug addicts stealing guns and looting hospitals and drugstores were certainly a problem, the level of their presence was greatly exaggerated FUD.

There were how many reports of men with guns at the Conv. Ctr. yet FOX, MSNBC, NPR , and CNN have had reporters there for days and there were ZERO reports of problems there. The Conv. Ctr. is now the target of a huge airlift that began at 11am (the SAME time as Bush started his press conference....interesting.)

I don't consider lifting food and necessary things to live a bad thing. Yes, it belonged to somebody else at one point, but that shyt's not salvagable. I mean it's not like they're gonna come back a year later, put all that shyt back on the shelf n try to sell it again.

Things like stealing drugs (just to get high), and alcohol, or firearms I view as looting. But these people have nothing left, their homes are gone, they're receiving little to no help from the gov't, so what if they take some chips or a few pairs of jeans. I'd have done the same thing had I been in that position.

Jesus... the first page in this thread was so full of "get a rope!" and "shoot em on site!" posts I never thought I'd find a sensible post. What does everyone expect will happen with all the sh!t that's being looted anyway? As I4AT put it so well, it's not like they're going to try and sell it once everything is cleaned up. As far as I'm concerned, those people can take whatever they need/think they need, and as long as no one gets hurt in the process it's all good.
