Perfect Gaming Rig Suddenly Gone Bad!

Wait a minute...he posted a thread like this 5 times??!?

Eh, maybe 4. I've lost count.

The point is, Anandtech has dealt with his inability to follow advice, adhere to requests, and even dealt with his "here's my problem...you guys fix it" commands. Time and time again we learn how annoying he can be and he learns, well, how to rephrase his scenario and post it again on a later date.

It has just been shown that we can't help him. Having another go at it just worsens his attempt at solving his problem.

Or says 'I have this video/fps charts if you want them' but, never, ever, ever, posts them.

To be fair, he did upload a ~275 MB fraps video of NFS: MW and the "stuttering".

It's just that the video didn't really show anything wrong and it at one point became evident that the stuttering he was describing was actually screen tearing due to lack of Vsync. Then he complains about the frames being capped at 60 when he enables Vsync.

In any case, I'd agree with apoppin in that I don't know when his gaming rig became "perfect" because his own posting history describes otherwise.

I think Video really does need active Moderation like ATOT, even if it is just to prevent morons like Akshayt from posting again.

I have dealt with people like Akshayt in my daily work....He is probably for real...HOWEVER the problems more than likely isn't with his PC...I would be willing to bet that he has a really cheap monitor which can't cope with higher frame rates and once he gets past the refresh rate, it tears and shimmers like crazy giving the impression that his PC is "Stuttering"

I just can't believe that a rig with a video card that fast can behave as bad as he reckons...after all my 7800GS is much slower than his X1900XTX and yet it gives me a super smooth gaming experience ALL the time, even with AA/AF on at higher resolutions...even as far back as when I was using my 6800GT all the time it was smooth.

I just don't get it.

I did not know he posted a video of MW's stuttering (so-called). Well then, if he complains about it being capped with vSync, he should...
RAISE HIS REFRESH RATE.
TADA.
VOILA.
That way the cap won't matter as much (although the human eye can barely process FPS above 60 anyways...)

IIRC I did that when he posted his "XTX not performing" thread....but the lack of active moderation in this forum prevented anything being done.

like I said before...we need a full time Mod here in video.

IF i detail it for the mods, i will be more thorough

the SAD thing is that the OP will ReAppear in a day or two as if *nothing has happened* and start his crap all over again

Scan for spyware
Remove Norton
Unchecked Write combining.
