Youve missed his other threads :laugh: Most are about the X1900XT and have some relation to MW or some other demo that dosent work etc.

I'm coming around to the same view. He lost all credibility here long ago and no longer gets any useful advice, so why would he keep creating these threads except to just screw around with people?

i think it is *wrong* to take *advantage* of people's helpful nature -- even in Video we don't deserve his BS

2)I have changed the mobo fan too many times. I just saw it, either it is working fine or not working at all. I say this because I don't see it spinning slow or giving any sound(not sure of this one as another of my fan seems to be giving an annoying sound), so either it is spinning fast or not spinning at all.

3)I just formatted the HDD, do I need to repartition and format, won't that spoil my HDD?

What PF? (after people have been talking about the page file throughout)

I love the thing about the screwdriver in the village though...lol

Umm... Morrowind is notorious for having a memory leak. It will start chugging after a few hours even if you started gine. $50 says you played for small amounts of time during the first few days. Dungeons are also different, different stuff in them plus size will cause varying performance. No way you can run max on that rig.

1. why are you dual booting if you can't even keep windows XP stable alone
2. if you have problems in 1 game, stop installing more and fix that one first
3. just give up on computer building altogether, just buy a dell

I know I don't have too many posts here, but I am fairly active on various other boards......

Anyone think that perhaps when he was OC'ing the rig perhaps he damaged something, too much voltage, (stock cooling) maybe too much heat, etc. etc. ??

I personally don't have too much experience with OC'ing, but I was able to get my gaming rig (AMD 64 3500+) to about 2.5 or 2.6, and the stock thermal paste/pad/whatever wouldn't have it after a while, and I had to underclock to 1.8Ghz to get it to even boot..... now it is fine @stock with som Arctic Silver 5...

What temps are the various components hitting (already asked in the thread, only partially answered)...
What applications are running in the background?

So many questions asked to try to help you out, and so many left un-answered....

If I have time (probably won't) tomorrow, I will install Morrow Wind on my rig and see how it performs at 4xAA and 16xAF

I wasn't quite sure on the abbreviation.... I saw some reference to Most Wanted, and something about dungeon's, and Oblivion.... lol. I have to say that it is a slow day at work, and I read the entire X1900XTX not performing thread.......... I am speechless... He is obviously just playing everyone. I am going to have to guess that he/she/whatever is about 10 or 12, because he is not capable of finding a screw driver... he has to send mom out to do it. Yes offcourse I installed .NET before installing CAT, there is no way I can install CCC before .NET as the drivers don't allow.

We don't know what your problem is, we've tried helping in the other versions of "akshayt's computer problems" and nothing we've had you try has worked - for obvious reasons that we won't go into. We simply can't help you, and if you really want to resolve your problem you wouldn't waste your time here trying the same thread 5 times in one forum.
