Wal-mart here in Tucson has a shitload of it, which is nice. Last year when they put it out, finding some was like finding One-Eyed Willy's pirate treasure.

I've since found Jones Cola anyway, so it's not as big a deal this year. I'm still grabbing a few 12 racks, but last year I was actually calling different grocery stores beforehand trying to figure out if they still had any. Sugar tastes so, so much better than HCFS.

I love Mt Dew throwback.. went crazy on it the 1st time it came out. I'd prefer to stick to sugar instead of HFCS.. if not only for the flavor. Gives you the aftertaste on your tongue like rock candy.. you can't beat that authentic sugar taste.

Thing is with Throwback, the Mt Dew formula used is the 1964 formula. So while they went back to sugar, they also left out modern MtDews orange juice that they added around the time they moved to HFCS.

I think this was done because if we had the modern Dew formula with the OJ and real sugar, there would be a mass revolt across the board of Dew drinkers.

The way it's done now, they gave it sugar, which gives it the flavor pop should have.. but removes the OJ that gives the modern dew some extra zing. As of now, dew drinkers are about divided, with the only reason throwback doesnt have the majority is because most people dont even know about it.

Give dew drinkers the OJ formula with sugar, and watch HFCS die on the vine.

Without Throwback, I no longer drink pop at all. Plenty of things in this world to drink, it's the only way Pepsi gets my business. So far, I bought $180 of Throwback (Pepsi and Dew, mostly dew).
