I just started a new job about 3 months ago, and I take about an hour.

But at my last job, when it was slow, I took however long I wanted. On two occasions, I went home for lunch (20 minute drive to and from) and watched an entire movie at home. I was sometimes gone from 10am to 2pm or later. And no, I didn't get fired, I quit this job. They could have never fired me, I was the only computer literate employee in an idustry driven mostly by technology. Idiots, they just refused to hire more tech people, which is one reason I quit. And I love my new job, surrounded by computer junkies like myself.

varies... I work at home and eat whenever and however long I need. I hardly ever go out for lunch so it saves a lot of time (not that I really want to).

cool thing is lunch with bosses usually once or twice a week
