Since this isn't the gameboy successor, I just don't see them switching and having a huge library for both the GBA and DS. Maybe I'll be wrong and it wont be just a gimmick system. How many games came out in December? How many DS games are planned for the 1st quarter? So far, it looks like another system with no support forthcoming. N games are usually great, I'll admit that, but few and far between.

Quality over quantity! I dont have time to play all the nintendo first party games that come out to begin with...if they take their time with each title rather than rush them out the door, all the better.

Trust me, there are plenty of other quality games published by folks other than N. I'm not saying N doesn't make fantastic games, but there are plenty of other companies doing the same thing. I think N drops the ball when it comes to contracting 3rd party developers and probably makes their testing, approval, and manufacturing too cumbersome.

Bah. Whatever.
People who buy video cards for their PCs are being "skrewed over." They're already planning on releasing the next one!

I dunno...even though there are less titles, I'd say if you randomly chose a game for each system, the cube would be on top, as far as quality goes.

And yes, I own all three systems. Cube is just the most fun one to play.

DS is the new nintendo handheald. Nintendo is also planing another handheld to be release late 06 in Japan with a rumored name of Gameboy Evo/Evolution.

I realize it's a handheld but what is it's main attraction? Is it just a redesigned gameboy?

DS = Dual Screens

A 3" LCD on top and a 3" Touch Screen on the bottom (for maps . . . pretty useless though)

The game cartridges are ALMOST the size of SD cards, and its backwards compatible with GBA games

The DS is going to get the new Mario side-scroller, that's all that matters.:Q

Better graphics, completely different set of games, DS is backwards compatible.

The stylus allows for a sort of analog control system, combined with the D-pad you get something that's similar to dual joystick controllers. Check it out at Circuit City or Best Buy, the demo really impressed me.

Plus 802.11b built in. People are working on hacks to play DS online, which would absolutely rule.

Em who cares the DS is out now and it is brilliant (play mine all the time) and anything you buy is going to get outdated so just stop worrying about it.

Oh, FFS.

In other news, VW are already working on the Golf Mk6...

Why is this news? Do you think Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft just sit on their hands for a couple of years after a platform release, saying "Jeez, I guess we can just count the cash".

ROLL-FVCKING-EYES

You told MySoS he made up Evolution. Then you called him a Twat. I find that humorous because you were wrong. lol

No, he was still talking BS as the Evolutions will come out, 'In the future'. So will the nVidia 10800, the ATi x20000, the Nissan G97, the Pentium 8, etc.

I called BS, it is BS, I am still right.

MY 11 year old loves his. It is an impressive little machine. As the guy that buys the games, I like the fact that it will hold two of them. A new game and an older style one. On bootup he can choose which game to play. Its a nice feature for the younger kids, because I only let him have one game at a time with the old gameboy. Losing 30 dollar games sucks.

I can't say I'm too impressed with the size of the ds games, they are tiny. Very hard to keep track of by the younger kids.
