People who buy Nintendo DS are being skrewed over

Well lemme put it this way, I've owned an original gameboy, a gameboy pocket, a gameboy color, and a gameboy advanced. I'm sure I'm not alone and if I had the money I'm sure I would own a gameboy SP and a DS. Do I feel screwed over because nintendo decided to advance the system? No.

Nobody doubted the fact that a successor to the Game Boy Advance would come out. I'm questioning your made up release date. Nobody knows when it will hit the market and anything you hear on the internet is purely speculation.

I saw about 10 of them at Walmart a few days ago. I resisted the urge to buy one because I figured I'm not going to use it anyway... but damn the whole 'it's in short supply I should buy one' marketing trick was trying me... I resisted.

I didn't like any of the N64 Games and I don't need to not like them on a portable system again.

Better graphics, completely different set of games, DS is backwards compatible.

The stylus allows for a sort of analog control system, combined with the D-pad you get something that's similar to dual joystick controllers. Check it out at Circuit City or Best Buy, the demo really impressed me.

The screw job comes in games. I'd have to think games that actually make use of the DS for something other than a map will be very small in number. N has a bad reputation for few software titles on their systems...all except the Gameboy. Since this isn't the gameboy successor, I just don't see them switching and having a huge library for both the GBA and DS. Maybe I'll be wrong and it wont be just a gimmick system. How many games came out in December? How many DS games are planned for the 1st quarter? So far, it looks like another system with no support forthcoming. N games are usually great, I'll admit that, but few and far between.
