<< The Pentagon is developing plans to provide news items, possibly even false ones, to foreign media organizations
as part of a new effort to influence public sentiment and policy makers in both friendly and unfriendly countries, military
officials said. >>
this reeks. seems as if a few of our military people are graduates of dubya's oxymoronic school of foreign policy
expertise.
certain foreign peoples have enough trouble believing our side of the story. now a few well-placed idiots in the
pentagon have found a possible virtue in lying. as if our credibility cannot take any worse a hit in the nations we
are targeting with this misinformation campaign, why lie ? dumb (as in dumbya - nice, eh ?)
all the critics of of u.s. policy need is reason not to trust any information pumped out by our military and state
department yokels. everyone will now simply claim its false, regardless of its supposedveracity, and they'll point
to the pentagon's own written policies.
