nemisis, the op in the link you gave us is running a hand picked cherry bin processor.
You can never count these as normal processors. Its like taking a general production USA civic, and comparing it with a JDM Civic thats still wearing its cover shields still in testing phase.
ES processors always carry a big tag of YMMV. Because ES will either do better, same or worse. Its your luck of the draw, and yoxxy can tell you exactly why in bigger detail.
But you never say a chip can do what a ES shows. At best its a very very rough ballpark of the cpu's potential.
Also if you've owned a good hand picked ES chip, you'd understand.
