We already know the dirt on him. We don't need to learn anything new regarding him to see what a scumbag he was.

Sandusky and Schultz were vilified already. They didn't have a blind horde of defenders.

Both need to be locked up and throw away the key. Reading the testimony of victim 1 and 4 was just sickening.

Athletic Director new about the child rape, did nothing, and lied about it. Penn St. football needs to be ended.

Everyone who didn't go to Pedo State already knows he is dirty, he's dead now though so there is no point in wasting time or effort to go after him even more.

Without actually reading the document (if someone has found a link to it I would love to see it) the ESPN article makes it appear as though he was keeping track of all this stuff in case he needed to use it to push Sandusky out.

So not only did they not respond in any serious manner to the molestation, not only did they allow it to continue, but it seems as though their only course of action was to compile a list that they could use to leverage Sandusky.

That is beyond disgusting.

I'm willing to bet he kept the file because he was afraid of Sandusky suing Penn State and Gary Schultz losing his gravy train. I bet he told Sandusky if he tried anything that he had a list of crap on him that would put him in jail for life. Sad all around.

It's really too bad Paterno died before he could see with his own eyes the legacy he thought he built come crashing down around him.

I thought the news was about reporting not playing out conspiracy theories.
The emails had zero connection to Joe Paterno.
The entire last half of the article is nothing but conjecture and story telling about all these "business" Joe Paterno was trying to start with other local business men (Every business in Central Pennsylvania and almost everyone in Eastern and Western/Pittsburgh Pa was somehow associated with the 2nd Mile. It is a fucking huge charity).
Might I mention that zero of these "Evil Child Molesting backed" business ever went through?

"Richard Anderson said that it was not uncommon for coaches and youths to use the shower at the same time, and that he had never seen anything inappropriate between Sandusky and a child."

Why are children even in the Penn State athletic facilities? That's what I want to know.

Erm, do you use the athletic facilities at OSU? At Michigan and Wisconsin, kids are allowed in the locker rooms and showers of the athletic buildings (if they're with a parent/guardian). That's not at all suspicious in and of itself. When I go swimming at the Nat in the summer there are guys of all ages in the showers...

I agree. They need a nice little two or three year death penalty to clean house and get everyone in the football program out of there. Start from scratch with all new people and a new mandate on how to act like human beings.
