You have no idea...😉

I can do TA, TA reverse, TA harmonic, Sonic, Sonic reverse, Sonic rise, Sonic fall, Sonic Harmonic, Sonic 2x, Sonic 2x reverse, Backaround, Backaround reverse, TA -> reverse bak, TA reverse -> bak, Charge, quadruple Infinity, Neobak, Neobak 12 - 23, Neobak 23 - 34, Neobak 12 - 34, Fingerpass, Fingerpass reverse, just to name a few.

I own a modded RSVP, reverse ink tube, Tama inserts and cap inserts, overgrip.
Strange hobby you've got there.

I've seen some clips with pen spinning tricks, and they were... well, there are no words for that.

ok so when i do the thumb-around and it completes, i make it rebound with my index finger to do the reverse...

however most of the time the pen spins more than 360, or if I catch it, i catch it in my palm.. =( i can't get continuous motion.

The Thumbaround is one of the hardest tricks to learn (because it's one of the first) and it can be very frustrating.

Basically you start with the pen sitting on the tips of your middle and index fingers, and against your thumb, pointing left (assuming you're right handed). You should be holding the pen within the upper half, so that the pen is weighted more toward the bottom.

Use your middle finger to push the pen towards your body, spinning it around your thumb. Make sure the pen spins AROUND the thumb, and not on top of it (this is usually the cause of the pen spinning more than once). After the pen makes a complete spin, catch it between your index finger and thumb, just like you started with, except without the middle finger.

After you catch it, push your index finger down towards your body so the pen spins the opposite direction. Catch the pen between your middle finger and thumb. From here you can use your middle finger to spin it again, then reverse, then forward, reverse...and you've got TA Harmonic down.

It's a tough trick to learn, and has a pretty high drop rate. Try practicing over your lap or over a soft surface to minimize clatter.

Well I mastered thumb around over 3 years ago in both hands too. That I can do flawlessly and almost never drop. Same with sonic from pinky/4th => middle/4th => middle/index for both hands.

The trick for me now is the reverse thumbaround and I guess it was easier to do this in high school because dropping it and picking it up is easy, but now in lecture halls, my pen flies all over the place, a nd i can't easily get it, especially when the pen rolls forward down to the next level, I have to wait till the lecture ends...

If your pen flies that far you're trying too hard 😉

I don't bother to learn tricks with my left hand...I just know Thumbaround. I focus on mastering all the tricks on one hand, so I know how they all work, before moving onto another hand.

ahha i didnt know they had names. according to those pics, i can do sonic (thats the goldeneye I AM INVINCIBLE thing, right?). I can't do what the op is talking about tho. i can do it one after another, but i've seen people that just bounce it back and forth...

i think sonic and thumbaround will be sufficient... 😱

Learned something new today. Can't say that I'd admit that to anyone outside this thread. 🙂

Wow :Q

After looking at that sight it seems that I've been doing the finger-toss for some time, although I've never had a name for it. I might actually have to try some of those out durring class one day. No way in hell am I going to make a modded pen though. 😀

The Goldeneye trick is a Fingerpass.

Here is a video of a real Sonic.

I can do the pen spinning around all fingers and bring it back to the start, for a continuous pen flipping... from pinky-ring-middle-index-repeat.

It's basically a sonic going through all the fingers.

That's a Fingerpass.

A sonic is when the pen does a complete 360 and "transfers" between fingers. A fingerpass is when the pen "flips" from finger to finger.

You can only do up to two sonics in a row...this is called a Sonic Rise, or Sonic 34-23-12 (1 is index, 2 is middle, 3 is ring, 4 is pinky).

My dad just plays with his pen randomly, and I thought that was weird. You guys have like names for tricks and modded pens and sh!t. :Q:roll:

I just looked at the fingerpass, and it isn't what I'm doing. I'm doing sonics ..from pinky to index fingers. i.e. two sonics in a row.
