http://www.nydailynews.com/lifestyl...arning_label_kidfriendly_food_poses_chok.htmlHot dogs may soon join the dangerous company of products that carry a warning label. But it won't point out the unhealthful amounts of fat, salt and preservatives they contain.
The American Academy of Pediatrics wants a label cautioning parents that the ballpark staple poses a choking hazard to young children, according to USA Today. The academy also would like to see the franks "redesigned" so that they would be less likely to stick in a kid's throat.
I heard about this on news earlier this evening. Hot dogs do not need to be redesign or need a warning label for choking hazard. If they put a choking hazard warning label on hot dogs, they should be put on other foods that can be choking hazards as well. Parents just need to teach their children to chew their food properly.
