PCResources "Patrick" is leaving,Guy`s we should help him stay.

Reading through the original thread I got the impression he already left, taking his usual posting habits into consideration. 🙁
 
I have to say, he did help a lot of people, I just can't understand why he'd get so upset over that? I've seen plenty threads that were as bad/worse.....IMHO he had a bad day, he got caught up in what was said and took it personally (can't do) and will probably cool off and return. 😉

Hahahahaha. Why on earth should anyone beg him to stay? He may have some good viewpoints but when you're as opinionated as he is you have to expect disagreements. If he can't handle them he should go somewhere where people will think he's right.

Bah, he wasn't just opinionated, he was quite arogant. I really hate people that are constantly talking about how much experience they have an how all the rest of us are quite meaningless. Guy has a serious god complex, probably to compensate for something else....

Yea and I agree with you completely. Guy has a serious chip on his shoulder, personally though I won't miss him. I always thought his posts were quite inflamitory, in about the third thread he posted in (that I read) I confronted him about his &quot;chip on the shoulder&quot; bull.
 
He seems the replies are going the opposite way,yes he was not perfect &quot;who is&quot; but he did help Members out,anyway I guess I better drop this thread.

maybe you all should not try to make him stay. If he gets that upset over an arguement about a motherboard (or any piece of hardware for that matter), frankly he needs to turn off his computer for a while and go outside.
 
While his help to members is certainly welcome, his utterly amazing arrogance was quite a sight to behold sometimes. He reminds me a tad of Derek Smart, if anyone here has witnessed that nimrod's frequent postings to Usenet (not sure if that still goes on), with the caveat that Derek never helped anyone but is easily one of the most arrogant people on the face of the planet.

If he wants to leave, let him. There are plenty of people on this board with equally extensive knowledge who are not prone to bouts of self-importance.

I was just always bugged for the &quot;Am speaking for PC Resources&quot;. Is English not his first language? That's a bizarre construction.
 
Cant say i'll miss him. His idea of helping was trying cram his idea down my throat and then tellimg I'm stupid because I dont totally agree with him.... C YA ...
