Yeah that is the logic behind of linking you to a good inexpensive PCI. :thumbsup:

In addition a major problem with many of the current USB wireless is Heat.

Because of their structure in a small Plastic encasement they get very hot and as a result the transmission goes down.

PCI is better ventilated in the case, and most PCMCIA (for laptops) are much better designed and built than the USBs.

Not true lol. I had a linksys PCI card installed in our mobile LAN party server. It got tore off in route to a LAN party 40 miles away. Replaced it with an Edimax USB adapter so I could pack in separately and not do damage like that anymore 🙂.
 
Well, personally I've gone with the WUSB54G from linksys (V4) and I've had 0 problems with them. Have them installed on 4 XP systems (no vista) and no problems. I like USB over PCI so it's easily removed or moved around if I want. Also, the CD that comes with it has just a driver folder, so I just install that and use windows to manage it, I don't use nor like the linksys wireless client. But it is on the more expensive side $50 approximately
