What do you expect them to fix? The game just has way too much stuff on screen than anything currently available can handle, the only option is to dial it back a bit.http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/2...es-performance-on-all-platforms-but-at-a-cost
Game was just FURTHER downgraded in graphical quality. This is seriously depressing for new games when instead of fixing the game, they simply downgrade the graphical quality.

The consoles were having issues there. The PC version wasn't. The PC version still got the 'fix' (downgrade). How does that make sense?

Game was just FURTHER downgraded in graphical quality. This is seriously depressing for new games when instead of fixing the game, they simply downgrade the graphical quality. This has happened so far on MULTIPLE games "Dying Light", for example. I still love how we ignore the association between games Nvidia has a hand in, and how many issues these games have.
Edit: I love having to research every patch I apply to every device, game, software, etc. This is why I rarely update...
This a prime example of why taking update control in SP games away from the player is entirely wrong. It's always been my main complaint about Steam is the auto-updates even if you tell it not to. I know this is a Beth patch but I had it set to do not update and it still updated anyway.

Maybe if they ever patch it for dx12 they bring back the detail.

And the pathetically weak consoles are the lowest denominator.
no, I don't have a patch btw
People still wonder why I complained about Bethesda when the game was announced and we saw the first footage? They called me a troll but they see some of the stuff Bethesda does now

Because Moded skyrim is insanely demanding(Both on CPU and GPU and GPU memory).Minimum Is 3GB card to run it with no stuttering.I dont think people will accept 30fps on GTX980 in 1920x1080.And what about PPL with slow cards like GTX670 and 960 with 2GB v ram? They will run it with stuttering in 15-20Fps..Thing is though, with so many amazing modders having so much experience with Skyrim, why didn't Bethesda just hire them to make a true next gen FO4 game?

The fact that they had to remove shadows in areas of the game where you don't even have vast draw distances (interior of buildings) just goes to show how outdated and unoptimized the game engine is.
And when you fast travel, or just run really fast into a 'new' area and the textures all look like crap because the game is still displaying the low-res 'LOD' textures and takes a while to load the proper textures?
(If you don't know what I'm talking about. Or this for a less extreme example. Mip Map Skipping is what it's called, apparently)
