After the amazing all round performance of Fallout 3, New Vegas and Skyrim for ALL GPUs...

I knew the announcement of GameWorks would result in terrible AMD performance. Who else saw that coming? 😉

GTX 770 = 390X.

But the good news is Kepler seems ok, the 780Ti is at least keeping up with the 970.

I'm guessing that the excuses will be "lol drivers" and "they still get 60FPS!" All of the AMD cards were knocked down by two performance tiers. Geeze...

Have you seen that butt? Clearly needs 64x tessellation. But seriously, it's probably another game just tessellating everything to excessive levels to make AMD cards perform worse.

Not tested with game ready drivers yet.

Seems its very CPU limited. Faster CPU=better AMD performance. Those DX11 optimizations.

A goddamn GTX 960 is faster than the 280X and the GTX 770 is 50% faster than it? GG Gameworks. Thanks Bethesda.

Read the games' graphics is dated, so why is it so demanding? Glad I picked up Blacks op 3 at least the multiplayer is fun and not riddled with performance issues sans the campaign.

You can thank Gameworks for that.

The console CPUs just cant keep up.

Fair enough but when you look at what in house devs can pull off with the console with time, this is no excuse. I'm not expecting uncharted 4 to keep its given frame rate all the time but it will sure look much better than this game, with decent size environments, which given its level of graphics quality framerate dips are expected at some point.

Well, I suppose it's not all Gameworks' fault. Bethesda helped too 😉

Hilarious when all their prior games ran excellent on every vendor.

I'm gonna stick to my boycott of unethical devs and skip buying this game. They won't miss my purchase at all, but I would personally feel dirty throwing money to reward their behavior.

This is probably going to be the first Fallout game I actually play through.

Gotta represent my home town 😀

When is the DX12 patch coming out, AMD needs some help. Woof.

Same old "blame gameworks" talk when you know perfectly well it's just because AMD hasn't released an optimised driver for it yet which is AMD's fault. In 6 months time it'll almost certainly work great.

At least we don't have to hear/read about contra revenues in this sub-thread, yet.

No DX12 planned.

You sure? Console ports, DX12 native? Wasn't that the sales pitch?

i dont think you guys have seen the performance on the consoles. there is no gameworks title, that runs good on day one. i dont know how you guys dont see the pattern here.

I've seen it. NV money hats devs, AAA highly expected titles perform better on their hardware at times crippling performance on AMD and their own older hardware.

Trust me, with Silverforce on the job, I can't forget. I don't even have to read the thread if it's a certain poster and game benchmarks, it's already a given.

The PS4 version runs quite awful in CPU intense areas down to 10FPS. The Xbox One version performs slightly better.
