Updated OP. Lost 10lbs in 2 weeks. I rewarded myself with one small bottle of Starbucks coffee. Steadily moving down in weight and I feel great! Pants are much looser, I don't "feel" as big and also have more energy. Thanks for all your support guys, I'm getting there one day at a time 😀

Wow, good work dude! I remember how accomplished I felt as my weight came off a few years back. (low carb of course)

No Soda (Diet soda is ok, no carb soda only)

This alone is a great start. The number of empty calories in pop are incredible. I highly suggest calorie counting; For me, it makes it easier to say no to a snack at the end of the day when I know I've already eaten 2000+ calories today.

Killing soda from my diet was one of the hardest things to do. But it was easier with no carb soda (diet).

As for calories, I may start that but it will be a while. I know for a fact I'm under 2000 calories by far each day.

I know how you feel about quitting soda. I had no problems when I stopped smoking almost 3 years ago. My doctor wants me to get to 200 pounds (no timeframe), so I think I might try your methods PC Surgeon.
