PC Power and Cooling SILENCER 750W QUAD (RED) $69 AR

This is certified for a single 4870X2; I bought in May '08 for $150 (when it was certified for 2900XT in CrossFireX?)

I've got two of these, they work great, but is anyone else surprised at the number of DOA reviews recently on them?

Not me... I got one a couple of weeks ago which refused to start. They were out of stock when I RMA'd it, so I bought a Corsair 750 TX for ten dollars more from Buy.com. The PC P&C is supposed to be a little better, but my 9800 GX2 is happy now, so life goes on.

people that leave reviews on newegg are people that have complaints. people that are satisfied with their product usually dont leave reviews...

I got Corsair 650 ... Using it with a Intel 9550 and a single GeForce 260 do you think 750 p/s would hand 2 260's or should I just wait and get a 1000Watt P/S?

Thanks

First one of these PCP&C PSUs I got was a DOA. Let's hope the next one isn't...

I hate when that happens. Then it costs you another 10 bucks to ship it back. Happened to me on a BFG ES-800.

Yes, if it's this PCP&C 750w it should be fine for 2x260's, or 2 280's either most likely.
