Wow, are they coming out with a new version of this thing in the next few months or something? It just keeps going lower and lower!

Im torn between this and the Corsair 650TX thats also on sale. The PC Power and computing is 1.5" longer than my current PSU whereas the Corsair is the same lenght.

Does this regulate its draw from the outlet? For example: If my computer is doing nothing will it draw the same watts as if I were full on gaming? Or does it entirely depend on my setup?

Also, can anyone comment on how loud it is?

It will, as most PSUs, only draw what is needed. My PSU is rather quiet considering how huge it is. My system fans are much louder. In other words, its a great PSU at a phenominal price.

the Corsair TX650 has a 120mm fan on it compared to the 80mm fans that Pc Power Cooling uses so essentially it should be quieter. I have the TX650 and it's great. I never hear it, even while gaming.

My computer is in a room with a 55 gallon fishtank. I don't hear much over its pump and air compressor running :) When I watch tv in that room I use noise cancelling headphones.

this is a great psu for the price, but ocz is really doing a disservice by not putting the company names on the rebate form, it just says 'authorized retailers'...

Got mine, installed it, powering a pair of GX2s. Works great. Now I need to get another for the next rig.

My experience has been very good with them. I think I was slightly out of the warranty period but my unit would not power on. I asked them for an RMA through email and they gave me one promptly with no hassle, saying that all I had to pay was shipping to and from their facility. The return shipping I ended up not having to pay as I was a dunce and wasn't sure how to set up a prepaid return shipping label. They never billed me for it, anyways.

I think this was pre-OCZ buyout, but hopefully not much has changed.
