Hey everyone, I built a new computer (ram, cpu, mobo, video card) about 3 months ago. It was a mandatory upgrade at the time, and I only went with bottom of the line stuff. I have an Intel Core 2 Duo E2140, 2gb ram, EVGA 650i mobo, and Nvidia GeForce 8500GT.
I don't play many games besides world of warcraft on my comp, but occasionally I like trying out new games, so it's nice to see my computer run things at medium settings. What I've noticed, is that my comp doesn't even seem like it can run warcraft at full settings, let alone struggle with newer games at low-medium settings.
I may just be imagining things, but it seems like I could get more performance out of my PC. I'm not looking to overclock my computer, I've already tried that and honestly my cpu just doesn't like that idea. What I really want to find out is if my computer is really giving the performance it should be giving, and if not, what is the problem? Thanks guys.
