Mass Effect - very solid game; similar to all other Bioware games in terms of story and character buildup; inventory system is clunky; gameplay is focused on third person shooting and being able to pause the action to setup spell like abilities
The Witcher - haven't completed the game yet; it's a very dialogue / decision based game; combat is pretty simplistic; think you'll really like the game if you can get into what the developers were trying to do by making The Witcher very dialogue / decision focused
Fallout 3 - treat the game like a RPG and not a FPS; if you can appreciate the side missions, then you'll probably enjoy FO3 a great deal. if you just bum rush your way through the game though, the main story is lacking and you'll likely end up disappointed.
Company of Heroes (Gold Edition) - great game; if you like RTSes, you should like CoH
