Hi,
So I have been nursing my build from late 2001 along.
In an effort to delay the inevitable, I decided to add some more RAM to help thing move along a little better with some newer games.
Anyway, I pulled the RAM fromt he system to check to see what type I had before. When putting it back in, I missed the RAM slot and gently touched the mobo with the RAM.
So I get the RAM back in and hit the power button, and nothing. So I check backinside, and I notice the RAM isn't clipped in all the way on the bootom. I rectify this and still nothing.
Tomrrow, I am planning on pulling it apart and cleaning everything, then putting it back together as there was a ton of dust in there.
Any ideas of what has transpired here?
I know that I am overdue for a new rig. However, as I am spenidng more and more time at work, I use my home PC less and less frequently and would prefer to get another year or so out of this one.
Thanks a lot!
