Well got all my parts in Friday, put it all together yesterday. spent 1 hour frustrated as hell because it wouldn't boot up or post even (Used to build machines all the time but last time I did so was in 2003). Read the manuals and googled it till I saw someone else with the same problem and someone responded with a "did you plug in the power to the cpu" Looked all over the motherboard and lo and behold, there were 2 4 pin plugs near the cpu socket (guess that explains the extra 2 4-pin wires coming out of the PSU) plugged in and voila! beep!
Installed everything and it's working like a dream! Gotta do some tweaking of the OS but overall, I'm very happy with the decision I made. Thanks again all!
