aug 2k4 ~9 hours before we head to lawyers office to purchase condo, she
ask if i can handle all the finances for a few months because she needed
to quit her job again (she quit verizon about a year ago) and get cisco
certified (IT field is not exactly in great demand)

broke up for about a week

sept 2k4 ~she went to live her gf (divorced w/ kids) in kentucky for intense csco
study, came back not ready and no timeline on when her unemployment/
no-ambition twilight zone will end.....ask her about postponement of marriage
til mar 05

oct 2k4 breakup after her b'day and my b'day passed in silence...angry silence

in our 5 yrs, we've had plenty of fights and breakup, so much so we've
agreed that we'll probably have a great marriage as all major fighting
is over, mission accomplished.....kinda like what bush said bout iraq

correction:

explain the thought process a woman has to quitting her job T minus 9 hours to buying property.....her second time quitting her job @ verizon w/i 2 years (1st from union
to management, now from management to unemployed) in a bad market
with no prospects in sight......what would u think if yr fiance pulls this sorta
stunt?

antimarriage site sees this trend as women's machination to resume their
'traditional' role to stay home n raise the kids....not that there's anything
wrong with that cept there's a limited time frame between a woman getting her
degrees/certification and marriage/motherhood
one of my friend's wife (who's an attending doctor) said alot of her interns
vocalized about can't wait to get married so they don't actually have to practice
